Many of Matt Page's characters live in his imagination for years before coming to life through clay animation.

Clay animator Matthew Page has high aspirations: he wants to one bring his characters to the big screen as a Hollywood filmmaker. Page uses a standard household lamp to light his productions and paints cardboard boxes for sets. The process of creating clay characters and animating them may be time-consuming, but it isn't difficult: - Before beginning, Page develops his characters and uses a storyboard to determine the frame-by-frame pictures he will record.
- He then creates the clay characters. Different body parts are created and changed as needed throughout the production to reflect changing emotions or actions. Page carefully develops his characters and knows exactly what actions are character-appropriate .
- Weapons and props are fashioned from recycled household objects, small toys or models purchased from a local crafts store.
- An 8mm camera quickly records the action. Movement is achieved as Page manipulates the characters between shots.
